I enjoy building robots and producing music. I finished my Bachelors in Electronics and Communication at Anna University (CEG/Red Building). I did my Master of Design in Electronics systems at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram.  I pursued my PhD in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) at Intelligent Inclusive Interaction Design (I3D) Lab under Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing (CPDM) at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. I recently completed my postdoctoral research at Multi-Sensory Devices Group (MSD), Computer Science, University College London (UCL). At present, I am an assistant professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) at Department of Design (DoD). I supervise HIVE Lab at DoD, IIT Kanpur.

My thesis focused on interaction design and distraction detection of drivers in automotive under supervision of Prof. Pradipta Biswas. I have worked with TATA Elxsi as a research intern for 8 months in on-road obstacle detection using deep learning for autonomous vehicles. I have also worked with Faurecia in a collaborative project for an year. I worked with Stancebeam in cricket analytics using Deep learning for a period of 3 months.

I am passionate about music since childhood and into music production. I am trying to use my technical knowledge to bridge my passion and profession. I am looking for opportunities where I can work in HCI as well as Music. I am also looking for opportunities in Human Robot Interaction (HRI) and HCI for Automotive. You can checkout my works in HCI, Robotics and Music in Projects and Research sections.
